To accommodate your increasing demands at home, SPI Lighting has created a new compressed schedule specifically for our assembly department. The team works 8:30am – 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. Team members earn $15/hour plus free "single" health insurance all while assembling state-of-the-art LED lighting fixtures at our factory in Mequon, Wisconsin.

You’ll learn to follow engineering drawings and be a key checkpoint in upholding our quality standards. WORK IN A CLEAN, COOL ENVIRONMENT.
Our 131,000 square-foot factory features a large, air-conditioned assembly area with multiple workstations. Employees work independently using power and hand tools to tools to position and assemble parts according to engineering drawings. We pride ourselves on an exceptionally clean factory floor and comfortable working conditions so you can focus on doing your best work.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Candidates must have a minimum of six months of experience working in a factory. Experience in soldering or assembly strongly preferred. A good work history is a MUST (including good performance and excellent attendance). Other qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience that demonstrates accuracy, careful handling, and attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Manual dexterity (able to work with your hands as well as utilize various power and hand tools)
- Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Able to bend, twist, and stand all day
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
As an added benefit, SPI Lighting covers the entire cost of a SINGLE health insurance plan to include additional funding that is added into a health savings account for you. If you decide not to elect the health insurance coverage, you receive an additional $2000.00 per year, spread over 26 pay periods. Divided out over the course of a year, $2000.00 is another $.96 added to your hourly wage. More details can be discussed during an initial phone screen or in person interview.
