360° OF HIGH-POWERED COMFORT

Just the type of modern-day problem solver you expect from SPI Lighting, this sleek 360° radial pendant delivers over 53,000 lumens while completely shielding the source of brightness. Most of the choices for illuminating large spaces rely on high-output sources that are visible in normal viewing angles. This radial indirect solution is designed to comfortably and evenly light the ceiling plane to deliver the main source of ambient illumination.

ADVANCED SPORTS FACILITY LIGHTING

Sports facilities present unique challenges for lighting, which is why we designed a domed version of this pendant that will not capture projectiles. 

Indirect lighting is a top choice for field houses, athletic facilities, and tennis courts because it minimizes glare on surfaces, improving visibility of players and spectators. Conventional methods of illuminating indoor sports facilities detract from the players’ ability to see and perform effectively. Playing objects are obscured by glare from direct high bays, causing visual discomfort and impairing playing ability. Indirect lighting solves those problems. Moreover, this fixture’s unique 360° distribution creates better light uniformity which is crucial in environments with changing usage patterns.

CORRECTS FOR COLOR-OVER-ANGLE DISCOLORATION

Inherent within LEDs is a color-over-angle (COA) variation caused by phosphor path length differences. Along the edge, the angle light that exits the LED is larger, causing more absorption of blue light. What remains is a more yellow, phosphor-converted light.


This non-uniformity in color can be a significant concern, particularly in spaces with light colored walls or ceilings. This fixture includes a standard top lens that corrects for this. The diffuser film color mixes the output, delivering a clean white beam suitable for highly-finished ceilings and walls.
